Year 2 - 4 (Age 6-9)

The Years 2-4 Pack is a set of 12 books consisting of two Student & two Activity books for each Year.

General Objectives for the Grade 1 / Year 2 / Ages 6-7

On completion the student should be able to:

• Know the general meaning of the shahaadah ( testimony of faith ).
• Enumerate the basic principles of faith (Arkaan al-Eemaan).
• Strengthen his love for Allah and the Prophet .
• Memorise and recite from Soorah al-Burooj to Soorah ash-Sharh correctly.
• Show a sense of humility while reciting the Qur'an.
• Get acquainted with the characteristics of the Prophet .
• Perform ablution in the correct manner.
• Get acquainted with the obligatory prayers and the number of raka 'aat of each.
• Know how to perform the prayer practically.
• Know the qiblah of Muslims.
• Persist in reciting the recommended adhkaar (remembrances of Allah ) in their due
  time.
• Treat teachers and peers in a good way.
• Preserve the property of his her house and his her school.

General Objectives for the Grade 3 / Year 4 / Ages 8-9

On completion the student should be able to:

• Know the meaning and importance of Ihsaan in Islam.
• Provide proof for Allah's Lordship as it is manifested in His Creation.
• Do everything for the sake of Allah
• Memorize and recite from Soorah al-Burooj to Soorah al Inshiqaaq properly.
• Observe the manners and rules of recitation.
• Study some of the stories of the Prophet .
• Know the nullifiers of wudoo' (ablution).
• Specify the times of the obligatory prayers.
• Observe prayers in congregation in their due times.
• Know how to perform adhaan (the call to prayer) and the iqaamah.
• Preserve mosques and their contents.
• Treat neighbours in a good way.
• Adopt good manners, and distinguish between good and bad manners
• Preserve public property.
